School Orientation and Opening of School: August 13, 6:30 PM
PARENT NOTE: Students should be in HLN Uniform for Orientation & Meet the Teacher Night.
- Mondays, August 17 through May 10, 33 Mondays – at Nashville First Church of the Nazarene
- Labor Day TBD: HLN hopes to meet ON Labor Day rather than moving to the next day. (In past years HLN has met on the next Tuesday after.)
- October 12th, Fall Break*
- November 23, Thanksgiving Break
- December 14, 21, & 28, Christmas Break
- March 22, Spring Break*
- Thursday, August 20 through May 6, 32 Thursdays – at King’s Cross Church
- October 15th, Fall Break*
- November 26, Thanksgiving Break
- December 17, 24, 31 Christmas Break
- March 25, Spring Break*
- *HLN follows Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) for Fall & Spring breaks. Metro has moved 2027 Spring Break two weeks later than in previous years.
A printable 2026-2027 Calendar will be provided once Deo Gratias (Nov), Open House (Jan), Funeral Games (Apr), and Book Club (Sept/Jan/Apr) dates are finalized.
