2022-2023 Calendar

N.B. HLN’s graduation event for the class of ’23 will be on Saturday, May 13th.

Mondays, August 15 through May 8, 33 weeks
- Classes will not meet on the following Mondays:
  - September 5, Labor Day (N.B. Classes meet the following day, Tuesday September 6 instead.)
  - October 10, Fall Break, *HLN follows Metro Nashville Schools in setting breaks.
  - November 21, Thanksgiving Break
  - December 19, 26, & January 2, Christmas Break **N.B. This is shifted almost a week later from 2021 as Christmas 2022 falls on a Sunday. HLN breaks for three full weeks with Christmas in the middle. This allows us to end as normal before mid-May.
  - March 13, Spring Break*

Thursday, August 18 through May 4, 32 weeks
- Classes will not meet on the following Thursdays:
  - October 13, Fall Break*
  - November 24, Thanksgiving Break
  - December 15, 22, & 29, Christmas Break ***N.B. This does not line up with the Mondays. Thursday students will not meet December 15 and will return on January 5, before the first Monday back.
  - March 16, Spring Break*

Mondays, August 14 through May 6, 33 weeks
- September 4, Labor Day (N.B. Classes meet the following day, Tuesday September 5 instead.)
  - October 9, Fall Break, *HLN follows Metro Nashville Schools in setting breaks.
  - November 20, Thanksgiving Break
  - December 18, 25, & January 1, Christmas Break
  - March 11, Spring Break*
- Take special note of the shifting dates around the Christmas holiday to accommodate where December 25, 2023 falls on the calendar. Thursday families take note in particular.
